Research – the third step of Education
Introduction
Lok Bharti has been keenly aware since is establishment about the
significance of research work in education. But in the early years we could
undertake only surveys related to economics conditions, social plight of
Harijans and the status of women.
Then we adopted the approach of trying out the various varities of crops
such as Sankar-4 cotton, Tuwer Pigeon Pea, ground-nuts, Millet and then
propagate the results. When chemical fertilizer was first introduced, we worked
on its various uses and then followed the promotion and propaganda of
farming methods, how to make Gur - Jaggery brighter, horticulture and
compost were made popular among the farmer through extension and research
work. Thus Lok Bharti played a very significant role in the field of
research from its very establishment.
Lok Bharti also prepared people mentally to understand and accept the
findings of research work. This work was done very intensively and well.
Thus first we confined our activity to spread information about information
about applied research carried by other institution of All India Standing.
