w	A spacious science bhavan well equipped, 4000 sq. ft. in area has been
	built.
w	There is an arrangement of an illustrated energy park, and aquarium and a
	science park in the building.
w	Science books of about Rss. 3,00,000/- are sold at concessional rates.
w	To organize programmes suitable for villages and schools for eradication of superstitions.
w	It has been developed into science-resource center for primary and secondary schools of Saurashtra.
w	About twenty exhibitions have been prepared on science.
w	Sky-watching is arranged through telescopes.
w	For dissemination of information about non-traditional sources of energy in
	the surrounding area of Lok-Bharti equipments worth 10 Lakh rupees have been distributed along with proper training.
w	Science toys worth twenty thousand rupees have been sold.
w	With the help of All India Radio, Ahmedabad, 500 transistor radio sets have
	been distributed to the people for listening to science programmes
w	Science education is being made easy and interesting with the use of 1,000
	coloured slides, 150 video cassettes and computer CDs.
w	Programmes prepared by the students for eradication of superstitions and
	blind beliefs are exhibited in the villages.
w	Learner-oriented science teaching programmes for ten primary schools
	have been implemented effectively for the last five years and science text books for Std. 5th , 6th , 7th were prepared. They are based on our approach and experience of learner-oriented programme.
w	Ecology teaching with the help of Ahmedabad based Ecology Education
	Center has been going on 30 schools.
w	Traning programmes based on subjects like ecology, agriculture, animal
	husbandry, water conservation, science education, energy etc. are successfully completed for teachers; students, farmers, and the rural women.
w	About 1,000 visitors visit this science center every month. Dr. Arunbhai Dave
